Worth a Look

The dissertation of Fabian Wendt has been published by Mentis Verlag. It is entitled Libertaere politische Philosophie, and, as its accompanying description explains, it examines three different grounds for and conceptions of libertarian political philosophy, developing its own account in defense of a libertarianism that the author calls a "pure philosophy of freedom."

I hope to read the book. If and when I do, I will post my thoughts.

Thank you for your blog. I discovered you through David Gordons review of Actual Ethics. Based on his review, I bought and read the book and really enjoyed it. I am not an academic or student, but a semi-intelligent layman trying to become a fully intelligent layman through the reading of good books like yours. I found this speech at the recent Austrian Scholars Conference to be interesting. I thought you might be interested as well.
